Chi Town

I love to take walks and drives
summertime cruising past old neighborhoods
city streets
hectic people
off to work
late for appointments
but I enjoy life
my brain is intact
pure feeling

Rocking in Chicago
the new glow
arriving there on the other side

Off a train
on a bus
to the city
full of freedom
gateway
my state of serenity
peace of mind

Along the roads of mentality
curiosity surrounds motives
light bulbs crackle and flow
wild viewpoints
social gatherings
fast talkers and glad packers

my city
what I know
